older poem a little more positive!!  Hope for more to come, seemed good to be honest with difficulties that people have dealing with illness though, part of life as is poetry.

Dancing at a Temple I am dancing Twirling and whirling Hands and face open to the sun Lost in the infinite Draped in gauze and silks Whirling and twirling To the sounds of chants and drums As the deep tones of the monks Melt into the tender tones of nuns I am dancing, dancing Yes, yes I sit here stiff and graying But bathed in this golden light In my heart I am limber and strong For my spirit dances round and round As I fold into this universal song

Beautifully penned; I felt as if I were dancing there, too. I love the way this poem flows and the imagery takes one right there.

This is lovely Linda.I can relate to this very well.In my heart and mind many times now I am doing things that in reality I can no longer do.I particular loved the use of the words twirling and whirling giving the rhythm of dance to this piece.
