Dancing In the Moonlight
A one-hit wonder was the group “King Harvest”.
However, that one hit has to rank up there with the best.
Remember that rather cool spring Friday night
when we were dancing to the melody of “Dancing in the Moonlight”?
You were so light on your feet, and undoubtedly were a delight.
For our dance, that tune proved to be just right.
We were just high school juniors at the time.
I felt so high that there was no mountain I couldn’t climb.
Well, there’s another spring full moon out tonight.
Let’s get on the dance floor and feel like we’re in flight.
