Dancing

His life’s the shadow filling the space, Diffused away with a walk, In shades of blue to red to green, Diffusing away to a thought, And each shade of his past walking along, Is a memory of who he once was, Holding the truth of his beautiful self, Fading to nothing because, He lost his dance partner with the wind in the wild, His partner dancing in white, He lost his dance partner dancing a dream, Dancing a tango at night, So now he lives as a walking shadow, Beside the dance partner he’d known, He lives as shades of memories of life, In a life where he dances alone.
