I Dark, grey, twilight magic On a day of threats Rain, wintry kind, cold Those who ventured out Perhaps cajoled by brilliant & fading colors Enjoyed Nature's artistry, high canvas: Less bright & gilded clouds Yet nourishment for imagination II Such painted skies point upwards - To body, mind, Spirit Whatever the news - for families, bad ( Crime overall, & locally, drug business) Apt, then, the fading light said: Enjoy these dancers a bit longer But we packed the stage effects. We're off, now! Soulful clouds danced, minus makeup, to cheer me
