I danced in the rain Defiant chicane Cloud nine Some may fear insane Relinquish the pain Divine Liberty does reign I must break the chain The sign Better than sunshine When I draw the line Shed care Peace finally mine My calm I'll enshrine Repair I'm closer to fine Time to realign Prepare Cast off the nightmare Lost self to nowhere Again Repent for days err Don't hide from what's there Arcane Shall keep self aware Side step dragon lair Attain Write Me A Virelai Poetry Contest 13th March 2023 Sponsored by: Kim Rodrigues

Probably because it'd just revert to me saying 'you have it' and you saying 'no you' and we'd do that for about 3 hours haha! Trophies are heavy when they belong to other people, are you sure you don't want it back?! :)

Thank you Valsa! I struggled with this one and not sure I'd try twice! Didn't think I'd get to the end rhyme and had to change my rhyme once as it dried up! I have time on my hands at the moment and poetry is such a lovely pursuit
