Bleeding Heart Photograph of a Wilted Bloom | Susan Michal Fine Art

I, thus drowned in death's cold wake Eyes wept bare for breath's last sake Not then seen, 'midst blood and loss How my heart, thru grief, could break. ~ 2nd Place ~ in the "Let The Pens Flow - Jueju" Poetry Contest, Jenish Somadas, Judge & Sponsor.

Pure poetry. I found this challenge extra hard because of the one-syllable word constraint. Every time you think of the perfect word or phrase, think again! Those multi-syllable words are always there. You did great with this challenge. Sometimes I think you must have the vocab and total recall of a robot! I always love reading the Bard, and this is no exception. Well done!
