Daffodil Leaves

Like a single daffodil leaf Gliding... splitting from mother In quest of a location Relax and improve Yet somehow The wind can have its own scheme To participate Much like daily existence Including me.

My favourite flower, daffodil’s are a symbol of Wales and they remind me of my mother who was Welsh. “The wind can have its own scheme” I found that out for myself when my husband was fine one day and seriously ill the next. He’s doing alright now thank goodness, love the poem… Belle

Dear Belle, I really appreciate you taking the time to comment, and I'm overjoyed to learn that your spouse is making a full recovery now. During this time of upheaval and suffering, he is extremely fortunate to have a wonderful woman like yourself by his side. Kindest regards

Your poem is a song of nature's creation, my dearest friend, Lasaad. I much enjoyed its melody. Blessings.

Lovely flowers. Pity they don't grow in Malta except for one season.
