D-I Gave You a Whole Half Hour and Now I Must Do It

HER ZEAL IS REAL BUT BIG F*****G DEAL There sits she With piousness as her pen While if you ask me He said “seven times seventy” not but ten Timothy said when you have a banquet invite the lame And to this lady I say “there are none so blind” Whilst this woman is running out of people and things to blame As she grows ever more enraged and ever more un-kind Her attitude belies the fact that something is wrong And her writings are born of anger at best Although she won’t admit it the lady can’t find a place to belong While she verbally vomits that which another has confessed Everyone is entitled to be zealous and pray But I say most wars are to decipher who’s god is stronger This one’s god runs twenty-five miles a day While the other does nothing except allow the war to go on longer So she sits there professing the politically correct way to pray While I kneel at the alter of deception, injustice and inquisitions Hers are not my gods with enemies to slay While the lady rises off the chair to resume her holy missions © 2011.….Phreepoetree (~free~ to my friends I. I'm not sure what your 1st stanza means, but I like the rest of it, especially the whole 3rd stanza. The end to that stanza is AWESOME. Vomiting others' words. I love that part. I'm sure there are lots of people out there that do that - whether it's political views or soemthing else. Poets even, who aren't true to themselves and write how other people think they should write. regurgating other's ideas instead of creating their own, using their own imagination. Well said jeffrey.
