Emotions now dampened down Create mulch where much may grow If not scattered by my impatient hand Planting in Autumn Tending to small seedlings That storms threaten The seasons will play out But I can cultivate a climate For buds that blossom Not by sitting still Observing only serves To let nature take its course But by intervention Care and attention Protective nurture
