Crystals In the Sand
Crystals in the Sand
Walking and seeing a lonely man
Sitting so forlorn and so out there alone
A woman is stuck so inside a memory
Watching the storm so idle-less and less
As it’s bringing down an endless rain
From tears of yesterday of year.
He hides behind an unknown pain
Pondering why it’ll always be the same
Here in life’s smallest of game
Does anyone ever have to play?
As he endlessly cries out her name.
As he thinks like there’s no more love to give
When his first real love left in past time
Still she holds it all in the palm of her hand
Like the all elusive Crystals in the Sand.
He thinks of only one simple reason
That only wants to make him alive
As time changes within every season
He tries, to hold his head high, high.
Knowing he somehow has to give it a try
Like the pounding hammer upon a stone
When he thinks every angel has to fly
Fly on home to his home of so long ago.
I may just meet up with you again,
Now he sees the setting of the sun
A wonderment of a face can be a beautiful one
Shining like a multicolored rainbow in the sky.
As he knows her love will never die
Even though now she’s gone, gone, gone
Her love keeps him moving on
Like the all elusive Crystals in the sand.
