The weight of unrequited love An unsung song of limerence An obsession scattered upon oblivion The rejection of affection A death blow to the imploding ego A pressed flower never given Rescind a love poem with no end A broken heart with no one to mend Words never spoken returned to cinders Ashes of childhood dreams Crystallized and pulverized
