Crossroads

I I I I am at an important crossroad in my life trying not to lose sight of who I am in this crazy world full of hate, fear and intense disdain for those who differ and who refuse to become like everyone else in the whole world notwithstanding the sameness which makes us all humanity gathered onto this planet and trying to make the best of it FIRST PLACE WINNER written for "Crossroads" Poetry Contest sponsored by Kim Rodrigues

Congrats on your winning work. Way to go. Some of the ways our youth express themselves is not very attractive but we did things when we were young as well. One of my daughters had her hair cut to about an inch long. LOL..I didn't think it was so funny back them. I didn't say anything and she let it grow back out. Sara

Thanks so much, Jan. I was trying to make the mast of a ship a cross, and this is how it turned out. I'll have to say it IS different!

(chuckling) I started out trying to make a perfume bottle, for no particular reason. Then I realized what I was doing and it became a ship with the cross in the mast, which was perfect for a current contest. I'm amazed. An artist I am NOT!
