Notes About The Poem

Crossing Him Off My Bucket List

I can kick this off my bucket list Finally, I have the ring That satisfies my wildest dreams He is, ultimately, my husband The one who makes me smile The heart who shares my life The joy that always inspires He is, at last, my heart’s hope The one who gives me peace Awakens my spirit to believe Calms my worries and frees He is, tentatively, the passion Caressing my naked yearning Arousing my sense of purpose Creating in me, a light of faith He is, completely, the one I need To bring my life beauty and ease Sensations of creativity that allow Me to grow and develop sensitivity He is the answer to my prayers The one who shows me he cares The breath that keeps me gasping For the air that keeps my love flowing! Actually, I'd been married before but had always dreamed about this special man who I had dated at about 10 year intervals since I was 14 :) Thanks SO
