Crossed Paths

Elohim spoke two trees — their existence in Eden’s garden. crossed the path of good and evil — up the tree, the first Adam. his wife allowed a forked tongue to speak — paradise lost. a thunderous lightning bolt, severely severed Adam-kind and God. the tree of life remains locked into paradise, but did the other tree become the Savior’s catalyst? this tree was used to hang good - this evil demented curse of limbs. that, by the way, carried the Savior back into eternity whence He came, but this time Adam-kind crossed paths with Elohim. the cross willing the fall of knees, to believe the Word, the second Adam — the Lord Jesus. 2/28/2019 -Elohim of Genesis 1 speaks of God as creator of all - Forked tongue like a snake or serpent - In America we say your “up a tree” when your in a difficult situation with no escape - lightning bolt like the fall of Satan from heaven - Anyone that hangs from a tree is said to be cursed From John 1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God… through him all things were made… The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us.

A fascinating story is behind your wonderful poem, Kim. I was quite intrigued by it and admire your knowledge as well as your writing style. With many outstanding entries, judging was difficult (again). Congratulations on a second-place win! And thank you for supporting the contest. Best wishes, Carolyn
