This looks like a variety that I have and it has bloomed this late in the season..Sara
The last Clematis bloom holds one petal
Soon this flower will be gone disappeared
Cross-roads of existence so it would seem
Winter will come all green will turn to brown
But underneath surface lying dormant
A root_a seed waits for the warm sun's call
"Come forth my love, for the winter is past"
"The rain is over_gone_ flowers appear"
Not directly quoted from
"Song Of Solomon"....
