hmmm, Paul, could this be a passionate write of satisfying one's sweet tooth with a nibble of nectar from a 'forbidden fruit'..? I love how the title made me think one thing but after reading, I came away thinking quite another... a scintillating and thought provoking write that only you can so expertly do.. my warmest wishes my inspired friend! ~Susan

I am so pleased with your comments, Susan, because it is nearly always my aim to leave my poem at a crossroads and let the reader decide in which direction to go. You reason well! Thank you for the encouragement and support. Warm regards // paul

free will is everywhere...if we choose. It's so sad when it becomes invisible and there is no stepping back. Haunting words, profoundly conveyed. An excellent piece highlighting your skill and wisdom Paul:)

Oh, Paul, of all the marvelous cities of Spain I did NOT see, Barcelona was the one where I had to stay home because I did not have enough money to do it with the group that weekend. I bet you loved it there.

What a pity you missed Barcelona, Andrea! It's a beautiful city and there's so much to see and do. In fact, most of that area has a lot to offer. ~ Glad you like my take on this theme...not sure if it's what the sponsor is after. Regards // paul
