Couldn'T Save You

When did everything change? Where did I go wrong? Was there something I could have done? Maybe I could have held onto you tighter I should've said something Instead of standing there Watching you fade away I couldn't save you I didn't know how, at the time Did I make the pain worse? I'm sorry if I did You looked at me with those tear stained eyes No words Just silence They told the story, though You fought for so long Then, you gave up You let go of my hand And I never heard from you again.
