Cosmos
A pretty cosmos flower blooming florets
white and pink crown, hued tender scarlet
radiant in scorching sun
unfold one by one
hand in hand
embrace
petals grand
a symbol of love
serene, sober, like a dove
a balance of universe in dance
pulse of cosmic wonder in ecstatic trance.
