Contentment

We all strive to acquire an uncorked happiness forever overflowing in hugs and smiles, riches and success. In our pursuit of this ultimate prize time speeds by at record pace, bringing the journey to an abrupt halt. Others filled with awe about another unfulfilled life, have not yet come to realize this universal truth, unknown: That no one can acquire eternal happiness while living among the imperfections of the universe. And that the best a life could hope to be lived with all its highlights and disappointments is a state of being desired by none, but acquired by most. It is the peaceful state of contentment, the sweet essence of a life well lived.
