We do it all to ourselves...a difficult concept to share with others and not be misunderstood. Is God in control? -- Yes! Do we do it to ourselves, all pain and suffering? -- Yes! The most misunderstood and abused concept, is that of Free Will. It does not simply mean we have the ability to choose...but also the ability to create all that we choose, from the ground we walk on, to the sky and all of its stars with myriads of wonder. Am I saying God did not create the world in 7 days? -- No, He did? I am saying I do not believe in the Bible, and that it was authored by God? -- No, I do believe profoundly in the bible, and that they are indeed the Pure Words of God!

Hi Si; of course I realize that the jailer can go home in the evening or at least on weekends, while the prisoner must remain confined, behind bars. But what one experiences, never entirely leaves the mind, heart and soul. Very difficult to leave your work on the job. I've known good men, in law enforcement, whose wives and children had to also deal with the constant stress. I admire every man/woman who puts on a Selfless Uniform. Sacrifices for the greater good of humanity.
