Confusion In Fall

The maple leaves have turn golden
One dogwood trimmed in burgundy
Out in the garden pomegranate's limb
Sway red and yellow in fall's cool breeze
There are white specks upon the pear trees
Looking closely, I see the appearance of blooms
I wonder if nature has confused them.
Will they bloom again in spring at cold's end?
