Yeah I would tend to agree Milton, we can still enjoy reading back over our own poems, even if nobody else is around, but a bit of critique is always better, sometimes others will spot things we totally overlooked when writing, which is great, a fine epigram for your statue in soup creek, cheers David

Thanks so much, David. I re-read lots of my poems when I get a comment, because sometimes the comment doesn't appear to match anything I have written. Generally, it does. I'd just forgotten the poem...and I get asked to quote one of my poems, and I can't quote a single one of them.
