Formless soul, in body takes birth
Shaped from the elements of earth
Bestowed by grace, God’s life essence
To nurture love, in bubbling mirth
Pure heart and joyous innocence
Agendaless exuberance
We’re thus born complete, bliss replete
To enhance our luminescence
In sync with pulse of the love beat
With soul surrendered at God’s feet
All we need to do, is receive
Vibrant bliss, that makes heart upbeat
Ego has it’s own script to weave
Urges us, from love to take leave
Striving in pursuits self-serving
Temptations, that seek to deceive
Once attention begins swerving
We believe we’re not deserving
Oft mentioned as man’s fall from grace
Dark delusion that’s unnerving
If we but slow down, earth life pace
Ceasing doing, no goals to chase
Veils drop away, soul’s light bursts forth
There remain no puzzles to lace
