Rispetto
The rispetto lyric is generally composed of eight hendecasyllabic (11-syllable) lines. In its earliest form the rhyme scheme was usually abababcc however ababccdd is now more prominent.

We’ve seen comets, asteroids, and shooting stars, and now for something completely different. NASA found fossil microbes of life on Mars; not to sound critical or indifferent, but I don’t believe that anybody knows the origins of where or how life arose. Alien beings have, and are, visiting us, to what purpose... that’s what we ought to discuss!
