Common Beautiful Wings
The sorrow felt with a baby boy’s tragic death,
watching him suddenly take his final breath-
The softness and compassion in words spoken,
when outside the poetry world, kindness awoken.
I wish to mend the one who wears a wing broken.
Similar styles either in rhythm, rhyme or metaphor,
always been so beautiful, for her poetry I adore-
each sentence with her pen I laugh, or I cry,
and yet with those broken wings she has learned to fly;
a woman in which I can completely identify.
Ease and comfort in her poetry that I venerate,
and shows such benevolence free of haste and hate-
She resembles an angel with long beautiful hair,
I too have long hair and like her, and show my loving care.
We have so much in common if I really did compare.
I wish one day to meet her though we live far away,
I would give her a huge hug and have so much to say-
I strive to be as gifted as she is without uncertainty,
I know she knows she has much in common with me.
For there are no wings more lovely, many will agree.
