Coming Back Home
Cold winds blow outside so very strong
Only to whisper you’re not where you belong.
Motionless sitting morose by the fireplace
Insipid frozen heart in the glow I gently place
Not knowing when it will again throb and melt
Getting the warmth of your touch long unfelt.
Beyond the blue hills at dusk you’re gone
Alone I wait for the rising sunburst dawn
Charmed by flowers of my garden you’ll return
Knowing you’re mine for your love I yearn.
How much intensely I’m missing you now
Once you’re with me I’ll convey somehow.
Miles afar in the wilderness don’t any longer roam
Enthused by pining heart, say you’re coming home.
