Comfort
In the middle of the night,
when you think no one can hear,
Your muffled cries and repressed sobs,
Your daily stifled tears.
There is One who hears them all
And feels all your pain.
He knows the reasons and the cause;
and can take it all away.
But for every tear that’s fallen,
and every broken heart.
There is a purpose meant
and a place for you to start.
So open up your mind
and give away your soul;
To the One who offers comfort
and will lead you in your role.
Happiness will follow
in the time that He sees fit.
Have faith and you’ll be rewarded
Just don’t ever quit.
