Come What May
I’ll go my lone way, come what may,
walk through forest before I rest
to bathe in sunshine, I’ll make way
to walk life abreast, I know best.
In blizzard when journey is hard
I’ll go my lone way, come what may,
for like bird I’ll fly free skyward
from storm far away, I won’t stray.
Keep dark at bay, on course I’ll stay,
for in life whole I know my role.
I’ll go my lone way, come what may,
reach destined goal set by my soul.
En route you with me I mayn’t see,
my deep dismay I won’t display.
If you leave me in agony
I’ll go my lone way, come what may.
