Come aboard if your destination is oblivion. It is our next stop. You can have the window seat if you want. But it’s a sad view.

You really capture the term of oblivion in great detail in here.. yes the windows seat would not be a nice view at all..

thank you for appreciating my poem...and for your comments. I don't like that particular window seat at all.

This somehow made me sad, for some reason, so touching and moving. Window seat with a sad view, but come if you may, dare to ,… a deep one that is! I love this! This has a very lyrical touch to it like a melancholic chorus with a powerful touch if that makes sense. I absolutely felt this one. And is a fave for me! Pleasure reading your creative word weavings always

dear Ink--thanks for your visit. I agree...my poem has a melancholic feel to it. I'm glad you 'felt' it. Hope, though, it didn't impact you negatively. Thanks for the fave! I'm humbled and grateful. Enjoy your day, hugs, Sara

Um, I'll pass, thank you dear Sara, but I have reservations for a different destination, all paid for too, one way, no return trip wanted!

clever but insightful response, Bj. Thanks for your visit. I, too, don't want that window seat. I prefer the different destination to which you refer. Have a pleasant Sunday, Sara
