Colorful Path

I walked across the dew dipped grass As the sun peeked through the gray skies above Like an angel’s halo, guiding me into this morning The colorful leaves were scattered on the boardwalk Like a painted path, for me to follow I took a breath of fresh air, looked up to the sky And thanked God for this beautiful day!
