Close By Where My Child Would Die

Close By Where My Child Would Die Were close by where my child had died, While I always did feel so dreary inside; Remember day; Sad and gray, And to stop my crying I tried and tried. Death happened very quick and instant; God told me what would be His intent; With His grace, Bring to new place; From all our sins must be sure to repent. Into a new life in heaven had been born; Peace will abound that excluded all scorn; Finally free; Will always be, And in our front yard flowers still do adorn. Together in heaven is where we have been; Then God prevented the presence of all sin, And down below, I did die also; Now my son and I are back together again. Jim Horn
