Close-Ups
If you get close enough to a butterfly it gets ugly,
get close-up to any living thing and it turns ugly.
Better to keep a distance,
be satisfied with the big picture.
When you kiss beautiful lips
what do you look at? Better to imagine
you are kissing a butterfly.
Yes the intimacy of closeness
is delightful,
yet why at such moments
de we secretly wish
to close our eyes?
