Climb Again
Hurt see the signs of rain?
Thunder spoke and nothing fell
The clouds holds it hostage again
Sable.
Rumble.
Flash.
Bang!!!!
More pain.
Relived when eyes open again.
And again....
It escapes or evades-sometimes like a ghost then recon
It invades.
A little sunshine then more shade.
When will it just rain?
Breath is under arrest
Detained forever in the chest
Taking a breathe so hard
The pain I can feel it
The shame a worn shirt worn.
This heart screams
LOUDLY!!
Flirting with becoming heartless
Broke and tape won't fix it
Glue super or diluted is
Just too sticky
Falling apart trying to pick up the pieces quickly
Did anyone see?
Me?
Exhaled relief sometimes it's best to be less than a blip on the screen.
The descent is steeper than the climb
Almost straight up
Down requires bouncing
Over every sharp end forgotten when that milestone was passed.
Cut.
Bruised.
Hands slipped at the higher altitudes.
Truth exudes when the sudden stop fell through.
Will the rain every come?
Allowed or not. Breathe. Please.
Don't calm the hurricane
Let it work it's way out
From a category 4, 3, 2, 1....
Tropical storm
Done.
Pray.
Hold on.
Climb again.
