Clifty County Fair

When autumn coolness saw the return of the Clifty County Fair, In October after the leaves were completely on the ground, Farmers took the best fruits of their harvest to compete for ribbons. Children played around the exhibitor’s booths and cattle barns. In October after the leaves were completely on the ground, Everyone for miles around the county gathered at Clifty. Children played around the exhibitor’s booths and cattle barns, While the elders exchanged farming tips and idle gossip. Everyone for miles around the county gathered at Clifty With picnic baskets packed and chairs for sitting around, While the elders exchanged farming tips and idle gossip, We teenage boys chased the girls and wore ourselves out. With picnic baskets packed and chairs for sitting around, Farmers took the best fruits of their harvest to compete for ribbons. We teenage boys chased the girls and wore ourselves out When autumn coolness saw the return of the Clifty County Fair. So many ae afraid of pantoums. They are easy really but they must be smooth like yours. Occasionally poets just invent lines without cohesion. You did well.

An excellent pantoum, Milton. Your wonderful imagery brought the fair to life for me. Blessings, Evelyn :)
