FOR WHERE ENVY AND STRIFE IS THERE IS CONFUSION AND EVERY EVIL WORK BUT THE WISDOM FROM ABOVE IS FIRST PURE, THEN PEACEABLE, GENTLE, AND EASY TO BE ENTREATED, FULL OF MERCY AND GOOD FRUITS WITHOUT PARTIALITY AND WITHOUT HYPOCRISY. James 3:16-17
Create a new heart within me, Lord.
I pray Thee, renew my spirit,
That when death comes for me and time is no more,
I will have no need to fear it.
Let me please You in all my ways,
And let my words not offend Thee,
That when I stand before Your Throne,
I'll have no need to fear when You judge me.
As a man thinketh, so is he, You said,
So let my thoughts please You always.
Enter my mind and my heart this day,
That I'll not be barred at Your gateway.
Of all Your servants, I'm far from the best,
And if not for Jesus I'm lost;
But He sought me and bought me with His precious Blood,
And He didn't give thought to the cost.
Thank You My Father, for Your Precious Son,
And thank You Dear Jesus for coming;
Because You have come now all things are new,
A bright new day is now dawning.
