Clever Richard-- doubt following, always leaving us wondering-- I like the simplicity. Please educate me-- does a "Cinquain" have the foot format of 1-2-3-4-1 ? I have seen other poems people refer to as 'Cinquains' that are nothing like that.

There is a traditional form that uses a sylable count which is a much different feel.
