Oh how I love this!!! As someone who has attended church potlucks for 40 years, I could smell the food and feel the chaos of kids chasing each other, people jostling for a spot in line, and church ladies displaying proudly their concoctions! Well done! ~Cindi~

'The Prodigal Son' is one of my favorite parables! I have to admit, I have never tried Coca-Cola cake, though banana pudding sounds good! I can practically TASTE the fried chicken! :-)

I miss the church potlucks, too! And there was always one single fellow, who would bring chips! I LOVE it!

This is a bit of nostalgia for me. We don't do church potlucks like we used to. But, everybody would show off and make their best recipes. Makes me miss a whole lot of sweet ladies from my childhood. :)
