Christmas Alone
Quote By Poet "Life is made up of many happy tears and many sad tears"
Theirs was a perfect June wedding,
filled with pretty flowers and a very tall cake.
Then September came,
the honeymoon was now over.
Their love was being put on hold,
he had orders saying being shipped to a far off land.
Good byes were said,
tears ran down their checks.
Long lonely days and nights were coming,
letters were written to keep them company.
As December came,
Christmas Alone sit in for both of them.
Their first Christmas Alone,
filled with very sad and blue times.
Only their love could keep them warm,
letters would need to replace hugs and kisses.
A beautiful time of the year,
had turned painful for the newlyweds.
