Christmas
Christmas ?
A Christian Religious Celebration
An affirmation of joy and fun
Quiet contemplation at Midnight Mass
I fear has been hijacked taken over
By a modern day shopping holiday
Filled with dread and debt for some
And where is the fun in that
I much prefer the old 1
Sat around with family eating Turkey
Pulling Crackers in a funny hat
Yeah i much preffered Christmas past
When Dad used to Carve the Turkey
And i would fight with my Sister
Come to think of it now i should have made
better use of all those Wishbone wishes
I only wish i would have stayed young and never
grew up
