Christ In Me Should Also Be In You
Still wishing;
Still fishing;
And have the same ole dreams;
Been denying;
Yet trying;
But still I have the blues;
I've got news, Oh I got news for you;
That the Christ in me should also be in you;
Still climbing those mountains;
And drinking the devil's brew;
Came short of the glory that's what I choose;
But the water came to me from abundant fountain;
I am so determined not to lose. . .
I've got views of angels and heaven;
And I'm saved, and my age is seven;
I've got news for you;
If you would only just choose;
or are you... still...
Still wishing;
Still fishing;
And have the same ole dreams;
Been denying;
Yet trying;
But still I have the blues;
I've got news, Oh I got news for you;
That the Christ in me should also be in you;
Just yet the Christ in me also resided in you;
