Choosey

The seed is sown "I might never know" I'm not sure what Getting on a motorbike with a stranger? Wearing short shorts? Swearing at people? All three at once? I could dedicate 2 minutes and maybe one afternoon to realise those dreams (They aren't my dreams) There's an injustice That I don't get on a plane on a whim Try and make it in country music In Nashville (Also not my dream) I once ate a can of tuna About a decade into being vegetarian (Drunk) Because I felt angry About telling myself what to do I totally hold myself back From working on an oil rig By being sensible (Don't want to work on an oil rig, but who am I to hold myself back?) I'd really like to choose wallpaper But I'm so scared of regretting it I'm two years into not choosing Same with a new sofa I buy 'interim boots' rather than commit It saves quite a bit of money But I'd love to choose well I might never know What that's like
