Choices
When I’m quiet
Do you talk to me?
If I’m distant
Do you leave me alone?
When we talk
Can you understand me?
When I speak
Do you care?
Or, do you look me in the eye,
And ask
“Are you okay?”
Cause I am choosing
Whom, I want
To be a part of my life
And I will choose
Only love
