Choices

Poetry in motion The light turned red The car in front of me stopped As did I A blackbird hopped from the curb Onto the cross walk And marched across in front of us Hurrying to beat the light Some things are meant to be seen Some are so easily missed Three lanes of traffic An island and a right turn lane Crossed in haste by a pedestrian bird Lightening my working day
