Chilling
a chill is in the air
as she pulls the covers
over her head
relishing in the thought
that it’s Saturday morning
the work week’s done
she can relax
get up when it suits her
savour this envelope
of freedom
that feels divine
going over
in her head
the fun things
she could do
as she stretches
ever so lazily
she savours
every minute
with all her being
before she
semi reluctantly
gets up
and
starts her day
to the tune of
luscious aroma
as coffee percolates
