Chill In the October Air

Football heroes relive their youth I can smell grandma’s pumpkin pie. Witches and goblins lounge on porch. Joyful leaves diving into heaps. I can smell grandma’s pumpkin pie. Halloween costumes being discussed. Joyful leaves diving into heaps. Chill in the October air. Halloween costumes being discussed. Witches and goblins decorate porch. Chill is in the October air. Football heroes relive their youth. Written: 10-5-2019 Contest: October Pantoum Poetry Contest Sponsor: William Kekaula

Well done Caren. Tom is right, you made it look easy... Oh, and I read the entire poem as "chili in the October air"--oops and now I am so hungry!

I did not find it easy at all Tom. I had to really re-look at my lines because they often were not exactly the same.

Excellent Caren! I can remember jumping in the piles of leaves as a child from a tree branch! :)
