Childhood Friends

We started out friends And that's how it should be In the very end. My first budding love, My second friend I met, My first guy friend. Our opposing fates Have left me behind In a loveless crate. City boy, small town me, How far away you are. I can't sway it all away. One day and some night Could you become mine?
