Chased and Caught By Apathy

Chased down by a lion of apathy She jumps on my back, breaking my trance Pay attention! She yells, punching me in the neck. Apathy, you area pain, I think, but silently. I do not speak; she is huge. Much larger than I ever imagined. Her paw is over my mouth. She leans down and I can feel her hot breath on my face. I am terrified. Lions, tigers and bears, oh my. If I ignore her and pretend dead, Will she go away like a bear?

At least it sounds like she is a lioness?? great description and I'm sure that mood has passed hopefully.

Apathy caught up with me the other day, too. Frankly, sometimes it's nice to just say, "I don't give a damn!"
