Charming Patterns
Charming patterns of pine needles
Look like crests of waves from the ocean
Swirled on the side of a road in synchronicity
A perfect pattern to follow, left behind by the wind
Delicate waves of needles, lead from sand to the pavement
I observe as I walk, the woods turns into the beach
And then back to the woods again
I am tall as the pines, powerful as the surf
Free in a forest, where waves crash on the ground
But nature's silent creativity is found
