Cerulean Tears

On such a cloudless day
with only clear blue skies
Why is there so much rain
falling from my eyes
I got bluebird colored tears
warbling in my heart
The saddest song to my ears,
when you said we should part

Cerulean tears
to water my
Herculean fears

Will the pain grow
stronger and stronger
over the years

I'm just a blue-collar guy,
never much given to cry
But when you pinned that
blue ribbon on my heart,
losing your love won me
the saddest ever goodbye

Cerulean tears
bluing up my soul
Big blue-hearted pain
ain't how love goes

The pain of lost love you wrote about is the bluest of all. Well done, Freddie.

Another word for blue, bro. I got the blue(s) theme laced throughout the poem. This poem is for anyone who has loved and lost. We know that bummed feeling. Ty for chiming in, Rick. Love you as always, my man.
