Upon the hills, out past the lea The sea spray lingers, mists the face The green surrounds, a myriad Ireland’s shores, a Celtic place When in the day, the pride, they wore As body armor for Gaelic force Carries to this day, when green they wear. The Celtic influence had set its course. For they had come to make a mark Settled there and changed the land A fighting style, no clothes they wore To make weak, opponents fighting hands
